1. Developing Principle

    Guiding by the market, focusing on quality and innovating properly, BOTC programs advisedly and develops gradually. On the precondition of keeping ahead in the oriental tobacco industry in China, it makes great effort to develop Maryland Tobacco to the main product and try out best to establish sun/air-cured tobacco base in Baoshan, which is the biggest one in China.

2 Programming Aim

1. To 2010, the company plans to build Baoshan into the advanced base where process mainly Oriental Tobacco, supplementarily Cut Tobacco and Maryland Tobacco. And the company also plans to enlarge the range of sun/air-cured tobacco planting area to more than 150,000 Mu, which can produce annually tobacco more than 310,000 Dan, expand the planting area of Oriental Tobacco to 100,000 Mu, which can receive tobacco more than 200,000 Dan, increase the planting area of Cut Tobacco to 30,000 Mu, which can get more than 50,000 Dan and expand the planting area of Maryland Tobacco to 20,000 Mu, which can receive 50,000 Dan.
   
2. To 2015, the company plans to enlarge the range of sun/air-cured tobacco planting area to more than 200,000 Mu, which can produce annually tobacco more than 420,000 Dan, expand the planting area of Oriental Tobacco to 120,000 Mu, which can receive tobacco more than 250,000 Dan, increase the planting area of Cut Tobacco to 60,000 Mu, which can get more than 120,000 Dan and expand the planting area of Maryland Tobacco to 20,000 Mu, which can receive 50,000 Dan.
